Not only does this approach increase their EBITDA, through cross-pollination and the sharing of resources…
… it also increases the EBITDA multiple itself, so typically boosts the valuation, even without accounting for bottom line growth.
Not to mention all the other value-building benefits that come from being part of a synergistic group, such as winning bigger contracts.
It’s what I call the Group Effect.
And it’s why being part of a “Synergy Group” means you stop incrementally building value as a lone operator and start becoming a value multiplier.
