Sometimes it does..

But growth and value creation also happens through collaboration. Everything from informal partnerships through to formal mergers.

One of my favourites is joint ventures. There’s so much untapped opportunity when you find other businesses that complement your own – and then make highly profitable arrangements which benefit both parties.

Best of all – this can often be achieved without the use of capital.
