Are you someone who invests into broken business models?
The likely answer is no.
So why would someone else invest in your business, if your model is flawed?
Or if they do – you will wave goodbye to a higher valuation.
One thing I see is founders overspending to acquire customers, relative to customer lifetime value.
They become totally fixated on revenue growth and assume that the customer acquisition cost will magically reduce as they scale… believing that investment can fuel growth and resolve everything🤔
But they completely miss what’s in front of their eyes.
They would be far better off optimising the CAC to LTV ratio – way before they think about more investment or start considering an exit.
Why? Because figuring this out early means that the changes you make will be quicker AND less painful, than kicking the can down the road…
