Don’t just look inside your own sector for inspiration and best practices. Search outside for how to innovate within your own. Be open to joint ventures.
☑️ EMBRACE CHANGE
Ditch the “that’s how we’ve always done it” mentality and be open to new ideas. Find ultra-simple ways to test out ideas quickly AND cheaply. For example, you don’t need to build an app to know if there’s demand for it.
☑️ ENCOURAGE CREATIVITY
Give your team the freedom to explore new ideas and take on new challenges. Focus on a specific business challenge that needs to be solved.
☑️ LEVERAGE TECH
Invest in and trial new platforms and tools that can streamline your operations. Devote time to reviewing what new tech can simplify and accelerate business processes.
☑️ LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS
The best ideas around innovation will often come from your customers. Unless you have genuine connections with your customers and actively listen, your business is not taking full advantage of this critical resource.
